Description
Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt yarn is 100% norwegian wool yarn
Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt has been on the market since 1938 and the structure of the yarn means that it has been a knitter’s favorite for nordic cardigams. Peer Gynt is still as popular a yarn today as it was then.
Clothes made from this wool are light, warm and get softer with each wear. Norwegian wool is durable, tangle-free and has very good elasticity, which means that clothes retain their shape and appearance over time. Consider the environment; wool breathes, so it needs to be washed quite rarely, the manufacturer recommends: there is no need to wash it, air the garment. Clothes made of Norwegian wool last a long time and can remain beautiful for several generations.

How do I care for this yarn?
IMPORTANT – manufacturer’s recommendations: wash all woolen clothes separately according to the wool program at 30⁰ temp., turn the knit inside out before washing, use detergents intended only for washing wool, do not use fabric softener, do not wash together with other clothes, do not dry clothes in a clothes dryer, dry straight. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted woolen garments. This creates friction that can cause the garment to tangle.
